The 3/1 favourite Liberty Dance was an emphatic winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 4-year-old Fillies Flat Race.

The daughter of Soldier Of Fortune, who was making her debut, was held up early on by Jamie Codd before making good headway on the approach to the straight.

She headed Ottizzini two furlongs out and kept on well to beat Clairmc by seven and a half lengths with Ottizini dropping to third in the final furlong.

After Britzka in the juvenile maiden hurdle, it was a double on the card for winning trainer Gordon Elliott who remarked: “She’s a nice mare and looks one for the future. She’s still quite weak and green — she should come on a lot from that.

“We might look for a Listed race but she won’t do too much this year.”
