Handicap debutant Nickname Exit made a mockery of his mark of 116 as he destroyed his rivals in the Dean Hill Handicap Chase.
Trained by Gordon Elliott and owned by Gigginstown House Stud (both completing doubles), the five-year-old son of Nickname was sent off the 7/2 favourite.
Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time he was settled behind the leaders by Jack Kennedy, and was third with a circuit to race.
He cruised through to dispute the running from three out and he was pushed along to lead before the last, soon stretching clear, coming home twenty-four lengths to the good. Sunsetstorise (25/1) finished second under Danny Mullins for Fran Flood while Boher Call (9/2) was a further length and three parts back in third under Luke Dempsey for Paul Flynn.
Gordon Elliott said afterwards: "Jack gave him a good ride taking the five pound off.
"It wasn't a wonderful race and we'll try and find another handicap for him over Christmas."
STEWARDS REPORT
D.J. Mullins, rider of Fairy Island trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished very tired.
