Elliott hails 'gentleman' Toner Gordon Elliott remembered Toner D'Oudairies as "an absolute gentleman of a horse" after the talented seven-year-old died on the gallops at his home in County Meath on Thursday morning. Owned by Gigginstown House Stud, the three-times Grade Three winner enjoyed a fine career over hurdles and over fences. Toner D'Oudairies won 10 times from 37 starts and was even successful on his most recent visit to the races, when he claimed the Imperial Call Chase at Tipperary in April. Elliott told his Facebook page: "Very saddened to say we lost a stable favourite, Toner D'Oudairies, on the gallops at home. "He was an absolute gentleman of a horse who gave us, Gigginstown, Davy Russell and Bryan Cooper some fantastic days. "What a fantastic horse to have been involved with."
