Elusive Kate may try to bounce back from defeat in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville by going for the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.

John Gosden's four-times Group One winner had earlier struck at the French venue in the Prix Rothschild for the second year running after taking the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting.

Plans for the daughter of Elusive Quality have, however, yet to be firmed up.

Patrick Barbe, racing manager for her owner, Teruya Yoshida, said: "I have not spoken to Mr Gosden (about running plans). I think it will be a last-minute decision."

The Lady Cecil-trained Chigun was the only other British-based filly or mare among 15 left in the one-mile feature at the confirmation stage.

There is a French possible in Alex Pantall's Kenhope, who was third behind Elusive Kate in the Prix Rothschild.

Say, winner of the Group Three Dance Design Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday, is one of three remaining entries from the Aidan O'Brien stable along with Just Pretending and Magical Dream.

Others in the mix include Caponata, Lily's Angel and Scintillula, while Eddie Lynam's Viztoria holds an alternative engagement in the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock on the same day.

There was one supplementary entry, the Willie McCreery-trained Fiesolana, winner of the Group Three Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary recently.
