Emotionless delights with work Emotionless delighted connections in a racecourse gallop ahead of the Group One Dubai Dewhurst Stakes on October 10. Godolphin's unbeaten Champagne Stakes winner was partnered by William Buick in the six-furlong work with two lead horses on the Rowley Mile. "It was a nice, routine work with his two lead horses. They worked six furlongs and Newmarket opened a nice strip for us which was very kind of them," said trainer Charlie Appleby. "It was nice building work. He pulled away from his lead horses, William was happy with him and he moved well. "The point of the exercise was just to get him on the horse box and away again for the experience and more importantly for him to encounter the dip. "As we know some horses lose their way in the dip slightly, so I wanted him to get a bit of experience there. He travelled into it and came out of it well. It was just a very pleasing gallop. "We have 10 days to go now and hopefully we'll get a clear run and be there and we're looking forward to it. "He'll have another regular piece of work beforehand. He's fit and looks well. It's just a matter of ticking him over now."
