Enchanted Garden gets back on track Enchanted Garden (7/2f) today registered a third win from just seven career starts, as the Tony Mullins-trained filly landed Leopardstown’s FM104 "Giddy Up" Handicap, under jockey Joey Sheridan. The daughter of Flowers Will Bloom raced just twice in 2024, winning at today’s same seven-furlongs course in July, and on today defeated 12 rivals, when scoring by three half-lengths - from Desert Haven, Comfort Line and Moyassr. Mullins revealed “I didn’t handle her the best last year, as when she won here unexpectedly first time out, I got excited and rushed her. I rang the owners and I said ‘I’m after ruining this!’, so they said to me to throw her out and try and get it right next year. “We all laughed and here we are.” He added “I don’t know whether we can go the whole way but she’s way better than 72 (rating) anyway. Hopefully she can move on, I think there is improvement. There is a premier handicap at the Guineas meeting at the Curragh and I’d imagine that’s next. “She’s been showing me that, I wasn’t surprised as she shows fair ability. She races with her head a bit sideways but there is certainly no dishonesty, she’s the most honest filly you’ve ever seen with a beautiful temperament. “He (Sheridan) said she maybe blew up but I left her a bit fresh as I was thinking of the next day. Hopefully I’ll get it right this time!” Quotes from Gary Carson
