Fresh off a victory at Ballinrobe yesterday evening, Robert Tyner and Phillip Enright repeated the feat with Nelson's Point in division one of Tipperary's two mile handicap hurdle.
Second reserve Attitash got a run and it was his first for Willie Mullins since switching to him. Punters latched onto his chance and sent him off the 9/4 favourite.
He held every chance as he disputed with Nelson's Point racing to the last, with An Droichead Eile just in between them.
However, Nelson's Point was slightly more fluent at that flight than the favourite and got away from it in the lead.
Enright didn't have to go for the whip on the run-in as his mount fended off Attitash by a length and three quarters at 16/1. This was the first time he sported cheekpieces. An Drocihead Eile dropped four and a quarter lengths away in third at 6/1.
Enright said: "He has been a disappointing horse - he ran well in the Landrover Bumper (in 2019) but then missed a bit of time and was a bit disappointing over hurdles.
"In fairness, Simon Torrens rode him the last day and said put cheekpieces on him and it probably made the difference today.
"He wouldn't mind a bit of nicer ground, the (Tyner) horses are in good form and when they are are in good form, things like that happen and it is great he has got his head over the line."
