Europe on target for Dial-A-Bet Sizing Europe remains on course to defend his crown in the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown on December 27. Victory 12 months ago was the highlight of another excellent campaign for Henry De Bromhead's 11-year-old, with the veteran winning his first four starts of the season before finding the brilliant Sprinter Sacre too strong at Cheltenham and Punchestown. Sizing Europe appeared as good as ever when making a winning return in the PWC Champion Chase at Gowran Park in early October, but after finishing a well-beaten second in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal, connections stated their intentions to come back in trip. De Bromhead said: "Were aiming at the Dial-A-Bet in Leopardstown and all is going well at the moment. We backed off him after Down Royal and he's in super form now." Also bound for Leopardstown's Christmas Festival is Sizing Rio, while Sizing Gold is being saved for the Woodlands Park Novice Chase at Naas next month. "Sizing Rio seems in good form. I was a bit disappointed with him in the Drinmore but he stayed on well in the end. We are going to try him in the three-mile Topaz Novice Chase at Leopardstown (December 29)," said the trainer. "Sizing Gold is in great form after his win at Navan last Sunday and we are hoping to go for the three-mile Woodlands Novice Chase at Naas in the middle of January."
