Exciting Easter planned at Cork See the link below for the programme of events for our 3 day Racing Home for Easter Festival 2012. http://www.racinghomeforeaster.com/ There are great packages available , www.corkracecourse.ie Please note first race times for the 3 days · Saturday -2.15pm · Sunday -2.05pm · Monday-2.20pm On Saturday we start off our flat season with a 7 race card, the main race being The Cork Stakes (Listed Race ) with a value of €40,000 On Sunday we have best dressed lady and gent which always causes some excitement, details are attached. This year Karen Koster from TV3 xposé is our judge along with Darren Forde to spot the best dressed man. We will also be shown the Munster/Ulster match live on the big screen. And not forgetting the little ones we will have · A track less train to give them a spin around the grounds · A puppet show · An Easter Egg Hunt · Mobile Farm · Stilt walkers · Face painters · Crocodile Tunnel All of the above for free for Children on Easter Sunday to enjoy. And of course we have a great 8 race National Hunt card. On Monday we have another twist where all the hard working Point 2 Point committees as well as the new young horses coming up and the point to point punters merge on Cork Racecourse Mallow for the 5 winners p2p races which is a great showcase for new upcoming champions. The pegus horse feed final been the main race of the day.
