Exciting prospects in Killavullan Three unbeaten colts feature among the 12 preliminary entries for the JRA Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday. Obliterator is a half-brother to Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Just The Judge and looked potentially exciting in winning his maiden for Ger Lyons at the Curragh last month, finishing powerfully over a mile to score readily in the colours of Sheikh Fahad's Qatar Racing operation. Dermot Weld's filly Lanyard could hardly have been more impressive on her sole start, trotting up in heavy ground at Listowel, while John Joseph Murphy's Davids Park rounds off those without a blemish on their records, having made a successful raid to Chepstow. Blenheim Stakes winner Shining Emerald represents Paul Deegan, and Aidan O'Brien’s quartet is led by the twice-raced Michaelmas, who has not been seen since May. Craftsman, Friendship and Stubbs are the other Ballydoyle contenders.
