Exogenesis out of Champagne Exogenesis has been ruled out of Saturday's At The Races Champagne Stakes at Doncaster due to the softening ground. Ger Lyons' charge had been aimed at the Group 2 event following a fine run when third behind War Command in the Futurity Stakes at the Curragh last month. The Dark Angel gelding had previously landed a hat-trick when claiming the Group 3 Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown. Lyons tweeted this morning:- "With rain that's falling & threat of more to come, we've decided not to run Exogenesis on Saturday. Riding dead/tacky so it won't improve."
