Hightimeyouwon, the 2/1 favourite, was half a length in arrears at the line, but was a length and a-half in front of Clarita (6/1). Ado McGuinness said: "Tough! Tom (O'Connor), one of the part owners, is in hospital as well. "He didn't stay the last day and we made too much use of him, and Jamie gave him a great ride there tonight. He's dangerous over that trip."
