FLAGSHIP BACK ON COURSE Queen Mother Champion Chase favourite Flagship Uberalles resumed cantering today and is back on target for Cheltenham.Noel Chance is delighted with the gelding, who has been under a cloud since he finished lame when beaten by Function Dream in the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury 10 days ago.The trainer said: 'I was very pleased with him. He had no ill-effects following the injury to his near-hock which he received in the Game Spirit.'All being well he will gallop on Saturday and it will be the Queen Mother Chase next stop.'However I don`t like to be too bullish on these occasions as anything can happen. Let`s just say that at the moment Flagship Uberalles is well.'Flagship Uberalles is 5-2 favourite with Ladbrokes for the Champion Chase at Cheltenham, scene of his impressive win in the Tingle Creek Chase last December.Stable-companion Ready To Rumble will run at Warwick on Friday in preparation for a possible tilt at the EBF Novices` Hurdle Final at Sandown on March 10th.'Ready to Rumble must be one of the best horses in England yet to win a race,' Chance said.'He`s been a bit unlucky but I would hope he would run well at Warwick and if he doesn`t go to Sandown he will go for the SunAlliance Novices` Hurdle at Cheltenham.'
