Fahy's Brucejack records first win over fences Danny Mullins partnered his first winner since landing last month's Arkle at Cheltenham on Kargese when Brucejack made just about all in Down Royal's Switch To Fibrus Today And Save Handicap Chase over three and a-quarter miles. The Equine Gold Syndicate-owned gelding, whose only previous victory had come in a Ballinrobe hurdle three years ago, was left clear by the fall of Goody Four Shoes five out and stayed on well up the straight to beat Attaboyarchie by eight lengths. Winning trainer Pat Fahy said "His trip is three and a-half (miles) plus. He had a lovely run in the Porterstown and it worked out very well. "Just had no luck with him after that. He ran well the last day, but he was due that win. When you go back through his form, it was pretty good. "Without a doubt (going out in trip) - you won't get too many races over three miles, two (furlongs). There is one coming back here. and Danny said he might get into the Kerry National. "He was third as a novice in Punchestown over nearly four miles. "It is great to get it." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
