Fallon's dog makes Produce Stakes Final The Red Mills Produce Stakes 2011 Final at Clonmel greyhound stadium next Sunday night will have a high-profile horse racing personality in attendance as Kieren Fallon is part-owner of trap six in the €24,500 finale, Uncle Eoin. Last night at the Davis Road venue, Uncle Eoin qualified by winning his semi-final by four lengths in a time of 28.60 for the 525 yard trip. The black son of Droopys Vieri is a February 2009 whelp and he is trained and part-owned by Athy, Co. Kildare-based James Robinson. He said: "Kieren is a friend of my father Eugene. They've hit on a lucky one here and once he got the bend he was going to be hard to beat as he is a great dog to finish out his races. His mother, Dark Rose has bred a lot of good ones and Kieren will be here next Sunday night – he wouldn't miss it." Interestingly one of Uncle Eoin's opponents in the final belongs to the well-known bookmaking families from Abbeyfeale, the Brownes and the Murphys. Tom Browne and Tim Murphy are listed as the owners of the Jerry Griffin-trained St Louis Charlie and he will be housed in trap three in the final after qualifying as the second placed finisher from the second semi-final.
