Fallon substitutes injured Hughes on Three Valleys. Champion Jockey Kieran Fallon has been handed the ride on Three Valleys in Saturday´s English 2,000 Guineas following an injury to regular partner Richard Hughes.Hughes punctured a lung in a fall at Leicester on Saturday and will be sidelined for three weeks, thus missing both the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas.Trainer Roger Charlton has opted to give Kieran Fallon the ride on Three Valleys, a 20/1 chance with Ladbrokes for the race. Charlton reported 'I was pleased with Three Valley´s work and he goes to Newmarket with a good chance.' However, Fallon commented 'Last year Three Valleys was very impressive in the Coventry but he disappointed once or twice afterwards. On form One Cool Cat shoudn´t get beaten. I sat on him last season and remember saying to Aidan (O´Brien) that he had a good Guineas horse.'
