Faugheen is reported on course to start the new campaign in the StanJames.com Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown on November 15.
Willie Mullins plans to give the unbeaten Champion Hurdle winner a workout ahead of the Grade One which the trainer has landed for the last four years with Thousand Stars and three-time scorer Hurricane Fly.
"All is well and he'll do a nice little bit of work this week," Mullins said.
"He would have done a bit more work (than Arctic Fire winner of Sunday's Lismullen Hurdle at Navan)."
