A little bit sticky early on, the 1/2 favourite Finest Evermore warmed to her task in the Allman Contracts Novice Hurdle and, having led throughout, went clear from the second-last to defeat Lynwood Gold (4/1) by an emphatic 13 lengths.

Since joining Willie Mullins, the 4-year-old daughter of Yeats has won a bumper and two hurdles by an aggregate of over 41 lengths.

Winning rider Paul Townend said: "She jumped better at Tipperary (Easyfix hurdles) but I suppose they were different hurdles today and after we jumped three I got about her and she winged hurdles.

"I wouldn't be worried about her jumping and while it wasn't ideal to make the running, she made the running in Tipperary, so she surprised me at the first couple (of hurdles) today.

"She was very good at the business end and that is three nice performances for us.

"They weren't the strongest races she won at Cork (bumper) or Tipperary but it was a good step up today."
