Finian's Another Potential Star For Tizzard Trainer Colin Tizzard looks to have another top notch contender on his hands following the impressive victory of Finian's Oscar at Hereford this afternoon. The four-year-old owned by Ann and Alan Potts quickened clear of the odds-on favourite Acting Lass to record a seven lengths victory on his debut under rules in the Blackmore Builders Novices´ Hurdle over 2m5f. Finian's Oscar was in the care of Denis Murphy until recently and won his sole Irish Point-to-Point at Portrush on 22nd October. Jamie Codd was on board on that occasion and the pair put up a polished display to win going away by eight lengths. Finian's Oscar who is related to three time Grade 1 winner Finian's Rainbow was purchased on behalf of the Potts' at the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale for £250,000.
