The unbeaten dual bumper winner Fionnegas made a winning debut over hurdles when making most of the running in the Ballinrobe Tool and Plant Hire Maiden Hurdle.
Fionnegas jumped fluently in the hands of David Casey for a twelve lengths success.
The winning margin would certainly have been reduced but for the fatal fall of chief market rival One To Many at the second last flight.
