Fire Lily getting ready for Classic campaign Top-class filly Fire Lily is pleasing trainer David Wachman ahead of her Classic campaign. The daughter of Dansili won the Anglesey Stakes at the Curragh last July before finishing second in both the Moyglare Stud Stakes and the Prix Marcel Boussac. Fire Lily is a best-priced 33-1 for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. "She's fine and is starting to some easy work now," said Wachman. "We'll see how she progresses over the course of the next month and make a plan from there. "She's got good form at the highest level, so we'll just play it by ear."
