First winner back for Henderson Nicky Henderson saddled a first winner following his return from a three-month suspension as Tetlami made a winning debut at Exeter. The Paul Roy-owned three-year-old was sent off the 11-4 joint-favourite in the Bathwick Tyres 'Junior' Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race, and handsomely rewarded his supporters in the hands of Tony McCoy. Tetlami passed the post a length and three-quarters ahead of Massyoun, with My Brother Sylvest another length and a half adrift in third. Henderson was fined £40,000 and barred from making entries until October 10 for using a prohibited substance on The Queen's Moonlit Path. The horse finished sixth in a race at Huntingdon on February 19, after which she tested positive for tranexamic acid, an anti-bleeding drug, which contravened British Horseracing Authority rules. Henderson's assistant, Tom Symonds, said: "It's great to get a winner on the board and hopefully it can be a case of onwards and upwards from here. "All the big guns are ready to go now. We've had a bit of rain and we're looking forward to a good season." Tetlami was the trainer's only entry on the Exeter card, and his ninth since Henderson's first runner back - Knar Mardy - at Ffos Las on October 11. The son of Daylami is BHA chairman Roy's only National Hunt horse in training. "This horse came to us from Jeremy Noseda's yard and is a very laid-back, straightforward horse," added Symonds. "People say Daylamis can be a bit tricky, but he's a lovely character and we're very pleased with that. "I'd imagine he may run in a few more bumpers before going hurdling, as he's only a three-year-old and is still a little light."
