Mick Fitzgerald is expected to be on the sidelines for the next six weeks after breaking a bone in his shoulder in a fall at Market Rasen on Saturday.

The jockey was airlifted to Lincoln County Hospital after parting company with Peter Bowen´s Celtic Boy in the feature totesport Summer Plate.

'He has broken a bone in his shoulder and will out for the best part of six weeks,' said his agent Dave Roberts.

'He was kept in hospital overnight but hopefully they will let him out on Sunday.'
