Triumph Hurdle hero Countrywide Flame is set to return to work at John Quinn's yard in the coming weeks.

The four-year-old was a shock 33-1 winner at the Cheltenham Festival, but then had to give best to Grumeti, who finished third in the Triumph, when the pair clashed again at Aintree.

Quinn said: "Countrywide Flame is nearing the end of his holiday.

"In less than a fortnight we will be getting him ready ahead of a light Flat campaign towards the back end before we run him over jumps again.

"I'm happy with him but just feel he is on the verge of getting a little fat.

"This would hinder our plans with him which is why I want to get him back soon enough," the North Yorkshire handler told www.johnquinnracing.co.uk.
