He won a listed race at Tipperary in 2006 and on his reappearance the following term he finished runner-up to no less a horse than Dandy Man. As a three-year-old Oxx predicted a bright future for the Dundalk Racing Club's sprinter saying he could be very good next year. However things haven't really gone as expected for Flash McGahon whose career tally stands at one from thirty nine. He had a spell with Dandy Nicholls in 2009 and in the early part of this year but he has been back with Oxx since the start of this campaign.
