Meade feels things didn't go his way at Punchestown on Wednesday when he had to settle for the runner-up spot behind With Nolimit and reports his charge slightly the worse for wear after the run. “He’s got a lot of cuts and scratches. He just didn’t get a great run around and things didn’t work out for him," said the Tu Va trainer. “I thought it was a funny race watching it live, and then I went home and watched it last night. Without blaming anyone, you could say that he might have been an unlucky loser. “I’m not saying that Deccy (Lavery) did that much wrong but things could have worked out different. “He got bumped and battered around a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if it just upset him a little bit when he turned in. “Even down the back stretch, he was getting bumped and banged around. He must have 10 cuts on him and he lost a hind shoe as well, but he’s okay. “He’s going to have a break now until probably the end of July and we possibly might run him in a Flat race and see how that goes, but jumping will be the name of the game with him too.”
