Flemenstar installed John Durkan favourite Bookmaker Paddy Power have installed Flemenstar as the 11/10 favourite for the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, which will be run at the Co Kildare venue on December 8th. The son of Flemensfirth will be bidding for back-to-back victories in the Grade 1 contest, having landed the spoils twelve months ago when trained by Peter Casey. Now under the care of Tony Martin, the eight-year-old made a satisfactory seasonal reappearance to claim the Fortria Chase at Navan earlier this month. The Willie Mullins trained Sir Des Champs, who finished second to Flemenstar in this contest last year, is available at 9/4, while his stablemate Arvika Ligeonniere is a 5/2 chance.
