Flemenstar pleasing on comeback trail Flemenstar is reportedly giving off the right signals as the star chaser edges closer towards a comeback. Now in the care of Tony Martin having previously been trained by Peter Casey, for whom he won two Grade Ones, the nine-year-old has been out of action since November 2013. A tendon injury forced him on to the sidelines, but hopes are high the Stephen Curran-owned Flemenstar will return to action this winter. "He's still at his owner's, doing his pre-training," Martin told the Times. "The vets have been happy with his check-ups, so he's cracking on with him."
