Flood Does Well at Wexford

JP McManus was continuing his good run when Didn’t He Do Well claimed the Coolcotts Handicap Hurdle for trainer Francis Flood.

Mark Walsh who took the riding honours sent his mount to the front at the final flight and went on to score by three parts of a length.

Fran Flood son of the winning trainer said afterwards: “That was a bit of a shock, he ran very bad at Tipperary the last day, I’m not sure if it was that they went too quick or what.”

“We weren’t overly confident coming here today but he did it well and we were pleased to win one. He might improve as he’s only a five year old.”
