Fly and Mikael pleasing Mullins

Willie Mullins reports two of his stable stars Hurricane Fly and Mikael D'Haguenet are being stepped up in their home work, and could both appear over the Christmas period.

"I am glad to report that our horses seem to be over the worst of the bug that has held them up," said Mullins.

"Mikael D'Haguenet has been back on the gallop this week and he came up there doing a half-speed on Thursday morning. I was really pleased to see him show a bit of sparkle."

"Hurricane Fly did likewise, so now it's just a case of how they respond to being stepped up in their work. They may make their Christmas targets but I certainly won't be bothered if they don't."
