Foley looking forward to summer with Bay Tom Foley has grand ambitions of a fruitful summer with Voisey´s Bay ahead of his outing in the feature race of the day at Cork. The seven-year-old impressed in a Tipperary maiden hurdle in April on only his fourth career start when he strode nearly five lengths clear. Voisey´s Bay is one of 12 runners declared for the Friday Evening Racing Handicap Hurdle, with hopes high of a bold bid. "We were quite happy with him at Tipperary and he did it very nicely indeed," said Bagenalstown-based Foley. "He's a big horse and he's learning all the time, so he'll know a lot more about the job after Cork. "He's absolutely fine once he gets going - there's not a bother on him - but he does get worked up at times. "We did give Punchestown some thought, but this looked a better option with his mark. "The ground doesn't bother him at all, so we wouldn't worry about it if Cork did get rain. "Hopefully we'll have a good summer with him." Ross O'Sullivan wants the forecast for heavy rainfall to be spot-on when King Blue returns to action in the same race. The nine-year-old struck over course and distance towards the end of March, when ridden by Katie Walsh, with the jockey's brother, Ruby, now at the helm. O'Sullivan said: "He was good in Cork the other day in what was a lot lesser race. "He's stepping up in class now, but he's got a nice weight and a good man on his back. "He's not been too badly treated for his Cork win and you'd like to think there could be a little more in the tank. "The more rain, the better his chances."
