For Bill for sale Michael Winters will be sad to say goodbye to his star mare For Bill when she heads to the Goffs December Sales next week. However, he believes the eight-year-old, owned by Donal Sheahan, will make someone a "perfect broodmare". For Bill has been the mainstay of Winters' County Cork stable since making a successful debut in a Tipperary bumper in April 2009 after two point-to-point wins. The daughter of Presenting went on to a total of nine races under Rules, including Grade Three contests over hurdles and fences. "She's in the sales next Wednesday. The owner got a bit nervous with her racing as she lost her form a little bit. He thought she might get hurt with loose horses when she ran the last day in Clonmel," said Winters. "She's in good order and maybe she could race away with us, but I think she'll make a perfect broodmare. It might suit someone to use their own stallion. "We'll be lonesome without her, that's for sure. She's been a lovely mare." Winters believes he may already have a replacement in Missunited, who won two bumpers before disappointing when only sixth in a Listed heat at Navan on Sunday. "We've still got a nice mare in Missunited. She ran the other day in Navan and we were disappointed with the run," Winters went on. "We won't run her now for two months and we'll start her off again after that."
