World Of Fortunes powered clear in the closing stages to run out an impressive winner of the concluding mares bumper at Wexford this afternoon.

The Liam Kenny-trained mare had been denied by the narrowest of margins at Tipperary on her debut last month and went to post a 6/1 shot today.

James Kenny, son of the trainer, sat behind the leaders, on the daughter of Soldier Of Fortune, before improving to dispute with half a mile to run.

She was sent for home turning in and opened up passing the furlong pole, going on to post a six-and-a-half length win over Familiar Dreams

The winning rider said afterwards:- "She is a lovely filly. We gave her a run in Tipperary where she was very unlucky. She was only beaten by a nose by one of Willie Mullins'.

“She seems to have improved a massive amount at home from that first run and she brought her homework to the track today.

"She is an exciting filly going forward. I think the owners are going to keep her. She is in a while now and probably deserves a little break before going over hurdles."
