Four Irish winners to book place at Breeders' Cup

The winners of four Irish races this year will have a place reserved for them in Breeders’ Cup races at Santa Anita, California on November 6th and 7th.

The winner of the Audi Pretty Polly Stakes (Group 1) at the Curragh this Saturday will be able to run in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf.

The Filly that wins the Moyglare Stud Stakes (Group 1) also at the Curragh on August 30th can take part in the $1 million Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Setember 5th Tattersalls Million Irish Champion Stakes (Group 1) winner at Leopardstown is automatically qualified to run in the $3 million Emirates Airline Breeders’ Cup Turf.

A place at the Breeders’ Cup festival will also be reserved for the winner of Group 3 Diamond Stakes to be held at Dundalk on October 2nd. The race at the Breeders’ Cup for this winner is the $500,000 Breeders’ Cup Marathon.
