Paul Townend continued to dominate proceedings at Cork, as he partnered Camelia De Cotta to an all the way success in the Grade 3 Kerry Group Irish EBF Mares Novice Chase.

Already successful on Maze Runner Come To Me and Castlegrace Paddy Townend was completing a four-timer on this six-year-old daughter of Laveron.

The French bred victor was providing Willie Mullins with his fifth winner on the day, while also completing a quick double for owners Rich and Susanna Ricci (also own Punchestown winner Min .

Sent off an 11/4 chance, Camelia De Cotta was soon in front under Paul Townend, and she made all, coming home an easy six length winner. Moyhenna (14/1) ran a nice race to take second under Denis Hogan, while 16/1 chance High School Days was another three lengths back in third. Forge Meadow was sent off the 9/4 favourite (from 11/4), and she faded in the straight, eventually finishing fourth under Robbie Power for Jessica Harrington.

David Casey, assistant to Willie Mullins, said afterwards: "She enjoys jumping fences. She wears her heart on her sleeve a bit and is forward going but is sensible jumping wise. She's progressing away.

"The fences have settled her down a bit but she enjoys getting on with it and jumps well. It was probably to her advantage that one or two behind her missed a few but jumping is the name of the game.

"I was a bit worried today giving away weight with the penalty but she carried it well."
