Four horses lost at Tramore Four horses lost their lives on a day of drama at Tramore as the bends again proved an issue at the Waterford track. Seperate Ways, who pulled up before the second last in the two-mile handicap hurdle, was put down after breaking his shoulder. The six-year-old was a five-time winner on the Flat for David Marnane. Mr Bones, a good old servant for Jimmy Coogan, slipped and pulled up injured in the handicap chase. He was found to have fractured a pastern afterwards. Hampshire Express ran a cracker to finish second in the O'Shea's Hotel Chase but fractured a stifle in the process while Laffan Island, who pulled up early in the beginners chase, severed a tendon.
