Fox ready for Buck House Henry de Bromhead feels Darwins Fox will have no easy ride giving weight to his four rivals in the Buck House Novice Chase at Punchestown on Thursday. The seven-year-old is burdened with a 7lb penalty for taking a similar Grade Three heat at Roscommon and he was also successful at Galway on his previous start. "He's in good form and we're hoping for a good run," said the County Waterford trainer. "There are a couple of good horses in there though. "As regards ground, I don't think he wants either extreme so it should be fine for him. "Obviously having to carry the penalty would be on your mind. I suppose it's not a bad complaint that he's gone and earned that by winning a Grade Three last time. "It's a worry having to concede 8lb to Dessie Hughes's horse (Art Of Logistics) who was a good winner the other day. Noel Meade's horse (Six Stone Ned, rated 130) is in there too - there's plenty of them to worry about." As well as those two, Darwins Fox has to take on John Kiely's Saint Gervais and Takestan from Oliver Brady's stable.
