Foxglove wins again at Wolverhampton The Pat Murphy trained Fairy Foxglove recorded her second successive victory on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, claiming the opening Download The New Unibet Racing App Amateur Riders Handicap at the West Midlands venue this afternoon. Successful at the course in December, the six-year-old daughter Albano was sent off the well-backed 11/10 favourite (2/1 in the morning) under top amateur Simon Walker. Having tracked the leaders in the early stages the Brian Mullen owned bay was ridden to lead just inside the final furlong, keeping on well from there to score by a length and a half. Previously trained by Paul Hickey, the winner has been placed nine times in Ireland and recorded her maiden success when scoring at Wolverhampton in December on her twenty-fourth career start. Elsewhere on the card Gordon Elliott was out of luck with his two runners. Lady Fandango finished a disappointing seventh in the third, while National Service (7/4fav) couldn't match Logans Lad in the last, finishing second under Timmy Murphy.
