Fran a Cheltenham possibility Big Eared Fran could be in action at the Cheltenham Festival after winning, under Andrew McNamara, at Sandown on Saturday. Trainer David Pipe will see how his charge comes out of the race following his fluent win in the EBF Paddy Power "National Hunt" Novices' Handicap Hurdle Final. "He has performed well in decent soft-ground novice hurdles and we just thought this was a better race for him, with a step up in trip," the trainer said. "He's in a few races at Cheltenham so we will see. He's in my dad's race, the County, the Coral Cup, but he won't get in all those."
