Frankel package highlight of charity auction

A unique ‘Frankel Package’ is the outstanding top lot at the auction in support of JT McNamara and Jonjo Bright which will take place after racing at Limerick on Monday 14th October.

The package includes:

· Return flights to the UK

· A visit to see Frankel in Banstead Manor

· Frankel silks signed by the late Sir Henry Cecil and Jockey Tom Queally

· A stay in the Jockey Club Rooms with dinner

· Saturday morning gallops tour with Juddmonte Racing Manager Teddy Grimthorpe

· Lunch for four people on QIPCO Champions Day at Royal Ascot

All proceeds raised on the day will be donated to the Jockeys Emergency Fund to assist with the rehabilitation of JT McNamara and Jonjo Bright. Both riders were paralysed following falls in March of this year.

· A unique set of plain life colours (grey) registered for any Irish-trained horse

· A Peter Curling illustration ‘Pushing the boat out for JT and Jonjo’

· Stable Tour with Willie Mullins for four people with lunch at Thyestes Day 2014 at Gowran Park

· Signed hurleys from the Cork and Clare All-Ireland teams

· Framed t-shirt and cap signed by Roger Federer and his professional tennis playing colleagues

· Free access to every Irish race-meeting in 2014

· Corporate hospitality for four people on Thursday of Cheltenham Festival 2014

· Corporate hospitality in a private suite for 15 people at Leopardstown on St Stephen’s Day

Russell Ferris, Manager of Limerick Racecourse said: “We are overwhelmed with the generosity of racegoers and the racing industry for the Limerick Charity Raceday. The variety of auction items is sure to raise a lot of money for the Jockeys Emergency fund.
