Frankel pleases in Greenham build-up

Henry Cecil departed for the Dubai World Cup meeting after watching Frankel complete his latest piece of preparatory work.

The red-hot favourite for the 2000 Guineas is likely to make his first appearance of the season in the Greenham Stakes at Newbury on April 16th amid what is likely to be a flurry of expectation.

"Henry stayed back to watch his latest bit of work before he left for Dubai and he was very pleased with him," said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Prince Khalid Abdullah.

"He's in good form and the Greenham is his most likely target."
