French Dynamite the pick of McNamara's quartet in Kerry National Eric McNamara has four representatives in the Grade 3 Guinness Kerry National Handicap Steeplechase at Listowel tomorrow and has pinpointed French Dynamite as being his best chance. The 11-year-old gelding finished third in last year's renewal and was successful in the Munster National at Limerick last season. The trainer told Dave Keena: "It has been a very lucky race for us - we have won it three times, but I'd like another one, we are all greedy by nature I suppose! "We have four shots tomorrow and I've never had four in it. I don't think I have ever had four runners in any race. "Headed by French Dynamite who will love the good ground and we have a very good 7lb claimer on in Joey Dunne because he does have top weight of 11st 12lb, so really looking forward to him. "Then we have three others that I suppose I'd like to see an ease in the ground for. They are all going to run. "Look To The West is after coming out of Henry de Bromhead's - very nice mare and I think she'll run well. We have a horse called Doctor Ken that we bought out of Olly Murphy's. Gorgeous, big horse and Mark Walsh rides him. Expecting a big run from him, he is working very well. Then we have Weveallbeencaught who is probably the one horse in the race who would want soft ground. Sean Flanagan rides him. "We have four shots at it and if I had to put my neck on the line, I'd have to go for French Dynamite to be the best of them. That was his first run for me in the National last year and he was too fresh. He was tugging all the way and he just ran a bit keen. This year we decided to do things a little bit differently. He ran in Galway a fortnight ago in a hurdle race and ran a nice race, finished fourth. His preparation has been good and looking forward to running him."
