Futurity plan for Pathfork

Pathfork will attempt to build on a highly-promising winning debut when he lines-up for the Galileo EBF Futurity at the Curragh on Saturday week.

The Distorted Humor colt, trained by Jessica Harrington, got off the mark in impressive fashion when slamming the Aidan O'Brien-trained Robin Hood, a winner since, in a seven-furlong maiden at the Curragh last month.

On the strength of that run, Mrs Harrington has no hesitation in stepping him up to Group Two company on his second start.

"He goes on Saturday week for the Futurity at the Curragh. He's in the Royal Lodge, he's in the Dewhurst and he'll probably be put in the Beresford as well," the County Kildare-based trainer told At The Races.

"We'll just see how we get on and hopefully if he repeats his Curragh performance that will be the programme."
