GOLD HEADS CHELTENHAM ENTRIES

First Gold heads a total of 38 entries published today for the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup on March 15.

Francois Doumen`s eight-year-old, recently bought by leading Irish owner JP McManus, is Ladbroke`s 2-1 favourite for chasing`s blue riband event following his impressive victory in the Pertemps King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on Boxing Day.

See More Business, winner of the 1999 Gold Cup but a disappointing favourite in the King George, and Ad Hoc have been entered by Ditcheat trainer Paul Nicholls.

There are 13 entries from Ireland including 1996 victor Imperial Call and last year`s runner-up Florida Pearl as well as Ted Walsh`s trio of Martell Grand National winner Papillon, Commanche Court, successful in the Irish Grand National, and Rince Ri, who was still going well in last year`s Gold Cup when unseating his rider three out.

And there is one entry from Australia the 10-year-old Logician.
