Martin Pipe`s Galant Moss helped himself to an impressive success over top-weight Prince Popof in the Prix Melinoir at Auteuil today.

The British hurdler, prominent throughout the two mile and two furlongs, was nicely poised to strike in second turning into the straight.

Galant Moss asserted at the last, where Adam Kondrat`s mount raced three lengths clear of the gallant runner-up. The winner was a 44-10 shot on the Pari-Mutuel.
