Galway 'unlikely' for Seabass Seabass is unlikely to take his chance in the Latin Quarter Chase at Galway on Tuesday due the prospect of fast ground. Third in the 2012 Grand National at Aintree but only 13th when favourite for this year's renewal, the 10-year-old was last seen finishing down the field in the Prix des Drags over fences at Auteuil. Trainer Ted Walsh has been looking forward to a trip to the Galway Festival with his veteran, but he is unlikely to make the trip to Ballybrit unless the heavens open in the coming days. Walsh said: "He's unlikely to run unless there is a lot of rain. "Conditions suited him well as he has no penalty and it's a nice race for him. "The lads that own him are all from the west of Ireland but, unfortunately, he won't be going anywhere unless we get rain. "There is nothing else about for him and he won't run again until Listowel (in September) or something like that."
