Galway now soft, soft to heavy in places

Galway is now soft, soft to heavy in places ahead of this evening's meeting at Ballybrit.

The track had been heavy, soft in places for the action last night.

The forecast is for a dry start today with rain later, clearing early tomorrow.

The Curragh race again on Saturday for the Irish St Leger meeting and the ground is now yielding to soft following 9.8mm of rain on Monday.

The Listowel festival is on next week and the Kerry track is soft, soft to heavy in places after 14mm of rain on Monday.
