Garvey bounces back to form for Murray They were stretched across the track in the mile handicap at Dundalk and it was the ones in the centre that prevailed as Master Garvey bagged a second career win for trainer Joe Murray. Front-runner Mullacash Buzz stayed on the far rail entering the straight with nearest pursuer Man Is King coming stand’s side. It boiled down to a duel in the closing stages though as Master Garvey got on top late on, for Chris Hayes, to get the better of Ferrari Desert by half-a-length. The 14/1 winner was bouncing back to form having been well beaten on his last start at the track. The Dragon Pulse gelding had recorded his sole previous win at Naas a year ago. Hayes said: "I was actually meant to be a little bit handier, but the horse beside me upset my guy in the stalls and it worked out as they went frenetic (pace). "They went everywhere up the straight, I just came up the middle and wanted every yard of it. He was good and game and genuine, and I couldn't fault him. "Like I said, it was a blessing in disguise that he horse beside me acted up because it actually brought me to a perfect position." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
