George's odds tumble

There are four Irish-trained runners at Wolverhampton today with Patrick Allen's Crafty George at 4.35, tumbling in morning trading for the Sponsor A Race By Calling 01902 390000 Handicap.

Navan-based Allen, sends Crafty George into battle for the first time with 7Ib claimer Ross Coakley booked. This Rossini six-year-old is having only his sixth start now and he is beginning life for his third trainer having previously been under the care of Jimmy Coogan and Joe Fogarty.

Interestingly when with Fogarty he was backed from a morning price of 25/1 into 7/1 when finishing fifth behind Conyella at Gowran last May. He had one other run for the Tipperary handler, that being when never better than mid-division at Clonmel a couple of weeks after the Gowran effort.

Allen had a winner with Harry Days at Dundalk back in November whilst Coakley is from Kildangan in County Kildare and he was a top-rider in the pony racing game.

Coakley is also on Denis Cullen's outsider Little Luxury in the 3.05. This daughter of Tagula is having her first outing for Cullen having been previously with Eddie Lynam. Little Luxury is a half-sister to the multiple winner Beaver Patrol.

Mark Loughnane has two runners at Wolverhampton, Monadreen Dancer and Goddess Of Light. Shane Kelly will partner these two at 2.35 and 4.05 respectively.
