The opening race this afternoon was won by James Halpin's Noble Commander ridden by the inform Barry Geraghty in the colours of The Tough Time Syndicate.

Geraghty fresh from his double on Sunday at Killarney is due to take up his new role as jockey to Nicky Henderson in the coming weeks taking over from the retired Mick Fitzgerald.
